When booking
Verify the accessibility details that could make or break the trip before money becomes nonrefundable.
48–72 hours out
Confirm transportation, special assistance, hotel details, caregiver schedule, equipment readiness, and critical supplies.
The night before
Charge devices, stage equipment, separate carry-on essentials, verify documents, and make the morning as boring as possible.
Before leaving the destination
Use the same system in reverse. Chargers, wheelchair parts, medication, access devices, mounts, and personal-care supplies are easy to leave behind.
